About Us
We are a growing microfinance company dedicated to providing affordable and accessible digital financial solutions to individuals and small businesses in Malawi. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Malawi’s financial regulations and Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) requirements.
• Manage financial risk, liquidity, and cash flow.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports for management, investors, and regulators.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring best practices and strong internal controls.
• Work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to drive strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Professional qualification: ACCA, CIMA, CPA(M), or ZICA.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in banking, microfinance, or financial services sector is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Malawi tax laws, RBM regulations, and IFRS.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
